The Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU) is a museum located at the Rio Tinto Center on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT.  Set in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, the 163,000-square-foot museum has more than 1.3 million objects in its collection that are used for research and education of natural history subjects, with an emphasis on Utah's natural history.

NHMU received LEED Gold certification for the building's efficiency in its mechanical, lighting, water, and other systems.
