Yale University Art Gallery (Kahn Building)
4th Floor Galleries

A new lighting facelift for the 4th Floor Galleries included replacing the original halogen lighting Par38 and MR16 fixtures with new LED LX2030 Series fixtures from Lighting Services Inc. The 4th Floor galleries are now dedicated to prints and drawings and are split into 2 sides with prints and drawings displayed on darker walls, and photographs displayed on lighter walls. The look and scale of the new LSI fixtures with cross baffles integrated perfectly with the Kahn ceiling structure and enhanced the quality of light on the artwork. All fixtures include Integral Dimming to individually tune light levels for the very sensitive prints and drawings.
