Hillman Hall is the new home of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.   Its centerpiece is a round, glass-enclosed, wood-clad event space known as the Maxine Clark and Bob Fox Forum that includes a small stage, a balcony, and a café, as well as seating for informal gatherings.

Gabe Guilliams, lighting designer with BuroHappold designed the space with 25 lighting layers indirectly lighting the ceiling above and softly filtering back through the woodwork. Lighting Services Inc's LumeLEX 2031 pendant wallwash fixtures were specified for the art accent wall along back of balcony overlooking forum.

The project received the IES Lumen Award of Merit.
